'Social Enterprise'

Farmers

Supporting farmers & their community.

In many developing economies, agriculture forms the backbone of the economy, but small plots, mediocre yields, uncertain markets and expensive credit often condemn farmers to an impoverished existence. Improve farmers’ prospects and income and the entire economy gains strength.

In Afghanistan, and now Pakistan, we  continue to work with farmers to improve their yields, access to markets, and income through:

  • better farming practice
  • improved irrigation
  • access to seeds and other inputs
  • introduction and training of appropriate technology equipment
  • crop development
  • livestock/poultry support
  • development or exploration of demand-driven local and regional markets
